The ones people ask about
Nobody texts to ask whether we take a couch. These are the items that actually come up, and the straight answer on each.
| Item | Answer | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Refrigerator or freezer | Yes | Carries its own handling cost — refrigerant has to be recovered by a certified technician first. |
| Mattress | Yes | Charged per piece. A mattress and box spring count as two. |
| Tube (CRT) television | Yes | Own disposal cost. Several pounds of leaded glass, so it goes through e-waste channels. |
| Hot tub | Yes | Cut down on site and carried out in sections. Drain it first if you can. |
| Piano | Yes | Uprights and spinets are routine. Grands are quoted on their own. |
| Gun safe | Yes | Anything past roughly 300 lb is priced for the weight and the crew it takes. |
| Shed | Yes | Emptied and torn down in the same visit. A concrete pad is a separate quote. |
| Dried latex paint | Yes | Once it is solid all the way through it is no longer a liquid hazard. |
| Concrete, dirt, roofing | Ask first | Not banned — extremely heavy, so we need to plan the load before we come out. |
| Brush and storm debris | Ask first | Yes once it is on the ground and cut to a carryable size. We do not fell trees. |
| Tires | No | Texas tracks scrap tires under a separate TCEQ programme. Usually easiest through a tire shop. |
| Wet paint, fuel, solvents | No | Household hazardous waste. Rockwall and Hunt counties each run a collection programme. |
| Propane or pressurised tanks | No | Cannot ride in a mixed trailer under any circumstances. |
| Asbestos or medical waste | No | Requires licensed abatement or a clinical take-back. Do not disturb it to load it. |
Anything not on either list is almost certainly a yes. If you are unsure, text a photo to 469-721-0154 and you will get a straight answer, usually within the hour.
